Statements/ Statements/ Statements

Stellt alles in Frage!

With art – i.e. with my art, it is similar to the weather, the group dynamics, the honesty or the love:

She, the art, is always there. Sometimes better, sometimes worse, somewhere along a line between failure, megalomania and the dormant pole, the soothing lonely rock that withstands the surf.
Art also has something to do with craftsmanship and artistic techniques, and that is by no means the most important thing. People who are very insecure are clinging to it. I can only wish these people the knowledge of how to somehow become bolder and risk something. The cuddly comfort zone leaves. Perhaps back to the inglorious technique and craftsmanship: Of course, it is a good thing to expand, refine them for years, to pass them on as well as to reach unrecognized heights that are never theoretical, but only and only possible through their own experience and targeted curiosity. This is not nearly written down, because to whom should these precious treasures be passed on? So it disappears into oblivion, yes the competition is already looking around the corner.
But, logically, it is not what matters. Nor is it the idea, nor the marketing (although it is more and more on the rise) but the uniqueness that is there in the personal, but which is also already hinted at in society and demands a breakthrough. Neither one person alone, nor society alone, suffices. That’swherethe interaction is necessary.
Of course, a picture or a film and any other work of art is completed in the eye of the viewer. Strictly speaking, a work is never completed. Not even the most famous and expensive works are. It is also the work not the essential, no, it is the person. The works are something of a circumstantial evidence. Useful, but not as valuable as the personality that creates it. Why art is like the weather can be explained quickly: it is always there, it just needs to be discovered, often in small things or in the wide horizon.
Why art is as much a result of group dynamics as it is, is due to the fact that honesty is so damn difficult to produce, even to the people you like… especially when everything is embarrassing and dangerous. (See positive test results).
Why is art like falling in love? Because we usually don’t know exactly who we are dealing with at the beginning, that turns out little by little… What is the reality? What does it turn out to be sustainable? Who or what was subject/ subjectto am manipulative trallala? Anything that is rock-solidly carved in stone may not be what it appears to be! Don’t believe the best lists, the art market, the experts! Make a picture of yourself! Questions everything!

Faites votre propre image! Tout remettre en question!
